What Is Public vs. Private

Some profile information is always visible to all users of the App (unless you have blocked them): your username, profile photo, full name, bio, following list (who you follow), and aggregate stats such as how many items you have logged per category and your average ratings.

If your account is set to public, or if another user is an approved follower of a private account, they can additionally see your logged items, favorites, accepted recommendations, and Log Later list.

Your followers list (who follows you), muted list, and blocked list are never visible to other users.

Your account data and all content you have created is stored in Firebase for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our Firebase database. Some residual data may remain in Firebase's infrastructure briefly as part of their standard deletion process.
